My Little Art Shop
A greeting card starts with the person who will receive it.
A printable greeting-card business workbook for kids ages 6–8, with eight creative missions and 16 parent audio guides.
A story, then an idea of their own.
Join Maya and Leo as they explore a pretend greeting-card shop. The activity begins with someone’s wishes, then moves through sketching, making, testing and sharing.
What your child can practice
- Choose a familiar person or a pretend customer.
- Explore what a greeting card could help them say.
- Sketch, make and test a card, then plan its materials.
- Practice a friendly pretend offer and reflect on what changed.
Choose someone your child knows. Is the card for a birthday, a thank-you, or a little encouragement? Ask how the picture could help communicate that message.
A little support for the grown-up
The 16 recorded MP3 guides explain activities and offer suggested responses to possible child questions. QR codes on guided activity pages open matching online guides. Listen when useful, then return to paper and conversation.
Designed for your family's pace
Children can draw, point, talk or write; a grown-up can record their words. No business experience, real selling or real purchases are required. Activities use familiar materials and pretend money.
